本研究は、ディタッチト・マインドフルネスが、緊張場面において、過去の失敗体験の反すうの軽減を媒介して不安と抑うつを間接的に緩衝するという、先行研究で報告されてきた作用機序を確認することに加え、現在の状況の中に存在する様々な側面への気づきを促すことによって、種々のネガティブな感情を感じながらも、個人に直接的かつ即時的にポジティブ感情を同時に生起させるのではないかという仮説の検討を目的としている。大学生を対象に場面想定法を用いた質問紙調査を行い、共分散構造分析による解析を実施した。その結果、思考反すうの軽減を媒介したネガティブ情動の軽減という先行研究の作用機序を支持する結果とともに、直接的にポジティブ情動を高めるというディタッチト・マインドフルネスの新たな効果も示された。後者の効果はマインドフルネスのPositive Side
